Không phủ-nhận, chúng ta đều cảm thông Hoàn-Cảnh,
Nước Việt-Nam, một Cộng Sản, một Quốc Gia,
Trong bối cảnh của Việt-Nam & Văn-Hoá Trung Hoa,
Rất tương-tự, nay rẽ chia hai Nguồn Văn-Hoá,
Thực chất, chúng phải thống nhất một <Nền Văn Hoá>,
Vì Cảnh Đời, Ta phân hoá lẫn nhau,
Tưởng rằng khi thống nhất Lãnh Thổ xong,
Người Cộng Sản có thể thống-nhất xong <Nền Văn Hoá>,
Nhưng thực tế, đã quá Khả-Năng của Họ?
6-7 thập-niên rồi, <Cờ Nước Bí>, Họ giải không xong?
Các Nhà Lãnh-Tụ Cộng-Sản và cả Quốc Gia,
Hễ gặp nhau, Họ chống nhau như Nước-Lửa?
Qúy Vị đều mang học hàm Tiến Sĩ?
Tranh Luận nhau kể cũng đã nhiều rồi?
Đề Tài trên Qúy Vị thử cùng nhau,
Viết một Luận Án, xem có phần Hi-Vọng?
Nếu chưa một Ai giải xong <Phần Kết Luận>,
Xin giã từ Bằng Tiến Sĩ được không?
Lý do tại sao, <Bằng Tiến Sĩ trên> lại khó khăn?
Vì Giả-Thuyết, đến nay vẫn chưa thành Lý-Thuyết,
Có lẽ Ta vẫn còn thiếu vài Điều-Kiện?
Trong số này, là Sự Phản-Tỉnh chân tình?
Tính Kiêu-Ngạo như vẫn chế ngự, hoành hành?
Trong Tâm-Trí của cả Hai Bên Đảng Phái?
Chúng ta nên nhận-định trong Toàn-Dân Nước Việt,
Không hẳn là chỉ Xếp Loại thành Hai?
Trong trạng huống Chính-Trị của Thế Kỷ này,
Buộc Chúng Ta phải hoà-đồng để tìm Tiến-Bộ?
Kẻ hèn được đọc biết bao bài Biện-Luận,
Các <Tiến Sĩ Nước Nhà> ngày tuổi tác lại già hơn,
Nhưng con đường Họ phải đến để <Phó Hội nhau>,
Thưởng thức <Cuộc Trà Đàm> thật vô cùng trở ngại?
Đề-Tài này có lẽ tạo nên nhiều Thách-Đố,
Cho các Đàn Anh và cho cả <các Đàn Em>,
Thế giới hôm nay, Tuổi Trẻ Việt Nam,
Xin hãy Tham-Dự và phát huy trí tuệ,
Xin gửi Luận-Án trên, hoặc trình bầy Đề-Nghị,
Làm sao cho <Lịch Sử Nước Việt buồn> sẽ phải sang Trang?
Để Việt-Nam, quê hương yêu dấu sẽ Kết-Đoàn?
<Tinh thần Diên Hồng>, cùng chung lưng Đắp Xây Non Nước?
Cái Bóng của một Việt-Nam Tự Do, Dân-Chủ,
Phải hiện nguyên hình và cống-hiến cho Non-Sông,
Dân-Tộc Ta không thể chịu đựng nữa <Sự Tan Hoang>,
Nền Văn-Hoá Việt đang rã rời từng Mảnh!

Translation:

How Could We Unify Vietnamese Culture Today
After Its Recent Civil War?

(Palavering, Social Poem)

Without denying, we all understand the Situation,
Our Vietnam Nation was divided into Two: Communist Side & Nationalist One
In the Cultural Setting of both Vietnam & China,
Similarly, today both Countries have divided into two different Cultural Tracks,
In reality, they should be unified into A Unique Culture,
Because of Life Fluctuations, we have divided ourselves,
Expecting when our Nation is united geographically by
Communists, they could unite our whole Culture,
On the contrary, Vietnamese Communists failed with their capacity?
6-7 decades have past; they could not solve the Impact Chest Game?
Whenever the Leaders of both sides meet each other,
their Conflicts are intensive and unsolvable,
Gentlemen, you all obtained your PhDs Degrees?
You have debated each other several times?
Let’s discuss the above Subject together,
Together, you prepare a Thesis to see if it is hopeful?
If none of you solve the Subject Problem,
could all of you agree to give up your PhD Degree?
Why is this new PhD quite hard?
Just because you have all been at the Hypothesis
Phase and your Theory has not been formed,
Would we have actually missed some required conditions?
Among those would be your insincere Reflection?
Our Arrogant Character has been dominating us?
Both in the Mind of Communists as well as Nationalists,
We’d realize our Whole People instead, not two sides only,
particularly, in our present Century’s Political Period?
The world situation is requiring our both sides to be progressive,
As a humble poet, I have read several Debates,
Our PhDs are getting older and older, but their road leading to their
Conference is so difficult,
How could they enjoy a Tea Talk to each other as needed?
So, this Subject has raised several Challenges for all of us?
Both Old and Young Generations of Vietnamese Today,
Vietnamese Youth is facing the challenging World to engage and to improve their mind,
Please speak up your Dissertations or send your Proposals,
How could you make our Sad History to turn over to another Page?
Vietnamese People will realize their Real Unification for our Lovely Country?
The People Conference at the Tran’s
Dynasty attracts us to unite and to share building our Better Vietnam,
The Shadow of Vietnam in Freedom, Democracy must be appeared,
It should offer to our Nation an expected Dream,
Since our People could not stand for a Broken Culture, spreading out in pieces all over the World,
