Thật ra, Ta trách < Cựu Hoàng Bảo Đại, Cụ Diệm, hay Cụ Hồ> là Trách đại?
Một cá-nhân các Cụ, đâu đủ sức <Đánh Giặc Tây>?
Nhưng Họ là người uy-tín, đã có công,
Có trách nhiệm dẫn dắt chung Dân Tộc,
Hoàn-Cảnh là do một số đông trong Quần-Chúng,
Có lúc tin, lúc bỏ, lúc hội-nhập vào,
Có trường-hợp, một Gia Đình mấy Đứa Con,
Đứa theo Cộng-Sản, Đứa theo Quốc-Gia, Dân Chủ,
Ý Hệ Chủ-Nghĩa đã thấm vào tâm trí?
Nên lúc Bên Này, có lúc Bên Kia?
Hoàn-cảnh biến đổi và Mầu Sắc thay đi,
Bức tranh Xã-Hội lúc thế này, thế khác?
Cựu-hoàng Bảo-Đại có đâu ngờ Đàn Em truất-phế?
Cả <Bác Hồ> cũng có lúc phải Ngồi Chơi?
Còn cụ Diệm bị phản bởi mấy <Thằng Con Nuôi>?
<Riêng Ông Thiệu>đâu ngờ Mỹ đá đau, Giò Lái?
Lão Kissinger, Nixon xem tướng người cũng biết,
Mưu thần, Chước quỷ Việt-Nam Hoá Chiến Tranh?
Họ đâu ngửi được Mùi Vị hôi tanh,
Của Con Người khi Lương-Tâm vi Quyền Lợi?
Người Việt Quốc-Gia thật ra có cần Chạy?
Lo sợ gì khi Giặc mạnh Ta thua?
Nhưng Họ hoang mang, chạy bỏ cả Cờ,
Vì hoàn-cảnh vẽ ra khung Trời Tự-Do quyến-rũ?
Họ thoát được cảnh ăn Bo Bo <hay Nhà Tù Cải Tạo>,
Nhưng phải liều, Sống Chết với Đại Dương?
Giá-Trị cao qúy là sự Chọn-Lựa một Con Đường,
Lập laị Hoàn-Cảnh bằng Niềm Tin Chính Nghĩa,
Con Người phải dùng lại hai từ Hoàn-Cảnh,
Để biện minh cho Kẻ Ở, Người Đi,
Nhiều yếu tố diệu vợi rất nan di,
Ai bảo được nhau, ngồi mà phân tích?
Có một Nhóm rất tin vào Tướng Số,
Họ rất tin vào Số-Mệnh của Con Người,
Người miền Bắc, miền Nam cả miền Trung, 
Còn người ở Hậu Phương, người Tiền Tuyến,
Người quen Chủ tầu Trường Xuân, Ta vượt biển,
Âu cũng là do Cái Số Cuộc Đời,
Đa số Nạn-Nhân chọn-lựa rất khôn ngoan,
Ái-quốc hết lòng, <vẫn phải vào Tù> khi miền Nam đổ,
Hoàn cảnh làm triệu ngàn Dân Việt,
Phải thoát ly một Đất Nước thân yêu!
Hoàn-cảnh cũng cầm-chân một Số Khác rất đông!
Và hoàn-cảnh, Anh lên Voi, Anh xuống Chó!
Một Hiện Đại cũng khó xoá đi <Cảnh Đời Lưỡng-Thể>,
Kẻ thành công thì thấy muốn hồi-hương!
Về Quê xưa, quan sát thấy Nước Non!
Buồn Thế Sự rồi rơi từng Dòng lệ!
Như Trung Cộng Số Đảng Viên đông đúc,
Chế Ngự Nhân Quyền, Bế Toả Tự Do,
Nhốt trong Lồng Đa Số, thao túng Toàn-Dân,
Không hẳn Ý-Hệ mà là Độc-Tài Toàn Trị?
Nếu bảo Giáo-Dục, ta thêm nhiều Kiến Thức,
Phân tích tinh vi, Ý-Thức Hệ siêu nhiên,
Làm sao Ta có thể tránh được < Niềm Đau>?
Nhất là Thời-Gian vô-tình trôi đi gần Thế-Kỷ!
Nên ở lại đây, hay hồi-hương về Đất cũ?
Một tâm tư khắc khoải vẫn triền miên!
Thôi ngâm lại bài hoài cổ, Thành Thăng-Long,  (1)
Có lẽ an-ủi được, và giảm đi <ít nhiều Ức-Chế>? 
Còn Ta muốn Con Người đổi thay Hoàn-Cảnh?
Làm sao đây, cần Lý-Tưởng lẫn Kết-Đoàn?
Làm sao đây, chống lại < Bầy Qủy Đỏ> lan tràn?
Chúng Thiểu Số, vẫn nhốt Ta trong <Cái Lồng Văn Hoá>?

Translation:

Human Beings Or The Settings?

(Palavering, Social Poem)

Telling the truth, are we wrong when blaming Emperor Bao Dai, Mr. Diem or Mr. Ho?
Individually speaking, They could not have Energy to Fight the French Colonists?
However, they have been well known with Prestige and Valuable Contributions,
They had a Responsibility to lead our People in general,
The Majority of Viet People has formed the Vietnam Setting,
Sometimes, they trust, they quit or they really engaged in It,
Once, particular Case, a Family has several Children,
Some of them are Communists and others are Nationalists, loving Democracy,
Ideologies have influenced in their Mind without preventing,
Therefore, they are sometimes divided into this Side or the Other?
The Cultural Characters with Different Settings have been changed,
So the Society Picture has also changed differently as well?
Emperor Bao Dai has never thought of his Subordinates overthrew Him?
Even Uncle Ho has been put aside without Authority?
Ex Pres. Diem has been killed by his own Adopted Sons?
Particularly, Mr. Thieu has been never doubt that American under planned to eliminate him?
Looking at the two super Guys, Nixon & Kissinger Hidden Appearances,
Nobody knew they have had Secret Traps to Vietnam War?
They haven’t understood the Dirtiness of Human Conscience,
When Human Beings are placed into a position to select their Conscience or Interest?
In fact, Vietnamese Nationalists did not need to flee away?
How can they be scary about the Enemy’s Power and their Loosing?
But they were worried and confused to Flee of their Country with their Righteous Character,
Probably, in their Dream, an Attractive Freedom Setting is drawn?
Through this Decision, they have avoided a poorest Economy and Re-education Camp, 
Even they have challenged their Death Menace in their Immense Ocean,
In their mind, the precious thing was to choose A Right Track.
Reestablishing their own Life Setting as their Righteous Belief,
So we must use the term of Setting to explain different things,
In my situation, I must flee and in yours, you mustn’t,
There are a lot of hard & complicated facts in them,
How can we tell each other in details for agreed analysis?
Some of us believed in the Doctrine of Human Destiny,
There are different, Northerners, Central Ones and Southerners,
Some must live rear of the Battlefields; others are in the front,
Some has known well the Truong Xuan Boat Owner; some must be Boat People, 
Is it right we must trust in our Life Destiny?
Majority of Victims have made their very intelligent choices, 
They are well known Patriots but forced to be in Jails anyway when the SVN was collapsed, 
Millions of Vietnamese had to leave their Fatherland just due to their Settings,
So the Settings have hold also several Others to remain, 
Some are better and Some worse!
Vietnam in this Modern Time could not erase Its Dual Social Form,
Some successful People can afford their Homecoming Trips, 
They like to see back their Fatherland with Surprises, 
Or they are tearful when seeing Tragedies having been happened,
Like the Red China is increasing its Communist Party Members,
In order to Dominate People Human Rights and Block Human Democracy, without 
Ideal Socialism but their Totalitarian Regime?
If Education offers People more Knowledge’s,
We may analyze VN Reality in details and understands about Supernatural World,
How could we avoid our Mental Sufferings?
Particularly, in the very long Time almost a Century?
Would we better live here or Coming back home, our Resource?
How could we get ridge of our consistent Frustrated Mentality?
Like we recall an Old Poem <The Regret of Old Thang Long Citadel >!
Probably, we may find some Consolations and Release some Frustrations?
But how can Mankind change their Environments?
Would it be the only Way They must Unite & Build Their Ideal?
But how can They face against Bands of Red Evils that are spreading?
Even Minority, They can put Our Majority into A Cultural Cage?
